Day 1: Mysore Arrival and Sightseeing
1. Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple
Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple is an ancient temple located in the small town of Srirangapatna, 22 KM away from Mysore.
2. Gumbaz
Located at a mere distance of 15 KM from Mysore, Gumbaz was built by Tipu Sultan in honour of his parents.
3. KRS Dam
Dam is constructed of limestones and bricks instead of cement. KRS Dam had also made India proud by being one of the first dams in the world to operate sluice gates.
4. Brindavan Garden
The Brindavan Gardens of Mysore seems to go on forever with its rolling terrace gardens, countless trees, beautiful flower beds and small pools.
